Privacy at ICS Fix
ICS Fix is built for privacy-first calendar fixing. The quickest summary: nothing leaves your browser. There are no servers, accounts, or hidden data transfers involved while you edit.
Fix your .ics file nowYour data stays local
When you open, edit, or export a calendar using ICS Fix, every operation runs client-side in your browser's memory. We never transmit files or metadata to a server. Closing the tab clears the session. For added assurance, you can open your browser's network panel while editing — no requests fire after the page loads.
No accounts, no silent tracking
- No email sign-ups, authentication, or hidden IDs.
- No cookies or device fingerprinting.
- No third-party scripts beyond the open-source libraries needed to parse calendars.
- Web analytics are limited to high-level traffic stats and never read your calendar data.
Purchases stay in your browser
When you buy a Lifetime Unlock or Day Pass, the purchase is saved locally as an anonymous ID tied to the payment system. There is no login or server account storing it for you. Clearing browsing data, using a private window, or switching devices can remove that ID and re-lock your access to site features.
To keep access, create a backup key from the “Keep your purchase safe” section on the home page and store it somewhere private. You can restore the key later to regain your unlock. See the Help page for step-by-step backup and restore instructions.
